RELEASE: Noir - Pneuma

Pneuma was born during the lockdown.
I felt something unfamiliar inside of me was screaming to get out.
It made me feel claustrophobic to suppress and keep it on hold. So I allowed the music to take the first step and I took the next. It almost felt like the tracks were writing themselves and I was just there to record. But obviously it comes from a place inside my soul.

Pneuma 1 came to life first. Those broken beats flew right out of me and the dark atmosphere followed on top.
On the journey Pneuma 2 and 3 started breathing as well and eventually I created and finished all three versions at the same time.
These are some dark, aggressive pieces but if you listen carefully you hear hope and optimism between the beats.

OUT NOW: Noir - Stimulateur V1

Listen Now: https://fanlink.to/Stimulateur_V1

I have had the name and idea for this Stimulateur release and series for years but it wasn’t until now I felt the time and music was right. This new series will be my personal playground with no specific concepts and musical genres.
Following my heart and ears. Being present. Being Noir.

These tracks were created from a lot of live sessions and not so much from programming. I felt that gave my “man vs machine” interaction more nerve and real dynamics. V1 is emotional and dark. Gritty and raw.
A true reflection of how I like my music in 2020.
Each track has personal depth for me and feels like the perfect fit for my first edition of the Stimulateur series.

RELEASE: Robert S (PT) - Electrical Failure

After a couple of great remixes for Noir Music Robert S (PT) delivers his first solo release
on the label and I am proud to present these three amazing originals and two remixes courtesy of Drumcell and The Advent.

Robert and I have been compiling this release over several months and put together what we felt was a really strong 3-tracker. We have been testing the tracks in the clubs around the world making sure we had compiled the perfect release and we are both super happy with the end-result.

On top of that we reached out to Drumcell and The Advent for remixes and they both delivered fantastic takes on the “Exoplanets” track.

RELEASE: RESOLUTE V1

This release marks a new era for Noir Music.
We are now fully transitioned into the new soundscapes that will shape the future of the label and what better way to celebrate the new beginning than with a brand new release series entitled “Resolute”.

Resolute V1 contains 10 previously unreleased tracks by Wlderz, Nicolas Bougaïeff, Electric Rescue, Wisna, Industrialyzer, Juan Trujillo, Responder, Andres Campo, Ignacio Arfeli and Dominik Vaillant. I admire all these producers and feel they bring something different and unique to this release and to Noir Music.

I want to thank all of the above artists for their contribution to this very first “Resolute” release. I truely love all the tracks included and I am honored that everyone wanted to help shape the future sound of Noir Music.

RELEASE: A_GIM/Alex Mine - Dual

2 artists, 2 tracks, 2 remixers.
I am very proud to present this “DUAL” release from artists A_GIM and Alex Mine who both deliver some hard hitting peak time stompers for the dance-floors around the globe.
And I am equally proud to have the 2 remixers I admire Yan Cook and Moteka onboard for the more “underground” remixes of the tracks.
I honestly love all versions. The involved artists really delievered some special treats for Noir Music and I am so happy with the end results for this release.
People who have attended my gigs the past 5-6 months have heard these tracks out loud. Now it’s time to unleash the goodness to the world.
Dual is here.

RELEASE: Noir - Damage Control

It’s been a year since I released originals and since then I also gave my studio a big make-over.

I have gone back to being more analog/hardware based in my production methods again and I guess in some ways you can hear that in this release.
For “Damage Control” I chose 3 tracks I felt had different vibes to them.

Psychosis carries a familiar Noir Music sound with a very ”in your face” beat and musical message.
Damage Control is a more groovy track build around modular synths and a filthy bass that cuts through the soundscape.
Autophagy is a fast-paced monster with percussive intensity and FM synthesis filtering in and out through the entire journey.

The tracks have of course been road-tested and believe me; even the smaller details changed a lot over time to fit my personal taste 100%
After a long process I am finally happy with the tracks and ready to present “Damage Control”.

RELEASE: Noir - Remixed Part 1

I am super proud to present the part 1 of "Noir Remixed" with fantastic remixes from some of my favorite producers.
Johannes Heil, Cardao, Robert S (PT), Wisna, Electric Rescue and DSTRD.

You probably know some of the names, some you might not have heard of; but the fact is...... You should really have all of them on your radar cause they all create incredible music.

I chose the remixers strictly from my own personal taste in music and producers I felt suited my tracks the most.

I honestly feel all the remixes here are unique and they are also an indicator of the direction Noir Music is taking this summer/fall.

Dive in and find your favorite or play them all.

Thanks to all our amazing supporters and all the amazing artists (too many to mention) that have been a part of our journey so far.

12 years is a long time in a tough and sometimes tricky business.

But as the pre-teen we are, we have big plans and rebellious dreams for the future, so expect much more noise from us...

Thanks for the continued love & support 🖤

Ramiro Lopez - On Your Face

It’s been almost 7 years since Ramiro Lopez had a productions released on Noir Music.
Since then he has evolved a lot as an artist and producer.
We have missed him on the label and extremely happy to announce his return with the excellent 2-tracker.

People that follow me knows I have been supporting Ramiro’s music a lot and even his label “Odd Recordings” stands out as one of the best techno labels the past couple of years in my ears. I love the minimal yet hard-hitting approach coming from Ramiro and this release is a great example of that sound.

“On Your Face” is build around the powerful vocals done by talented Juliet Fox and once again Ramiro proves the “less is more” still holds up in modern techno today. The hard-hitting beats and simple synth-lines compliments the vocal to perfection and makes Juliet’s vocals stand out in the center of the production.
“Venom” is just as powerful with its dark “what is this place” male vocal sitting on top of relentless beats and industrial elements.
This track builds into quite epic 90s rave chords before skilfully dropping back to the sparse and stomping vibes.
Another edgy slice of techno from one of my favorite producers at the moment.

DARK STARS VOL 004 - OUT MARCH 8TH 2019

It’s been a while since we released a V/A on Noir Music and I only ever compile them whenever I feel I have 5-6 tracks that stand out.

Dark Stars Volume 4 has been 6 months in the making and yes….. I know I am picky with the music I sign. I hear that on an almost daily basis.
But even though I could pick music from many different artists it still took me months of compiling, testing the music in clubs and at festivals and then putting together the tracks I felt stood out and complimented each other.

The great thing about V/A’s is that you get the chance to put together a release from artists with completely different sounds and ideas.
Although the sound of Dark Stars Volume 4 is quite minimal sounding overall, it still reflects musicality and great in-depth productions by skillful and experienced artists.

Another great thing about Volume 4 is that these are all artists who make their debut on Noir Music.
I truly love playing every single track from this release and I enjoy watching the crowds reactions around the globe.

I feel no need to get deeper into detail about the specific tracks, as the music will speak for itself.
Hit play and pick your favorite or do as me. Add all of them to your playlist.

Rudosa - Technical Difficulties

Excited to bring you the first debut release on Noir Music in 2019.

We are welcoming Rudosa to the family with this powerfull, raw in your face release.
I have been following Rudosa for quite some time and played a lot of his productions because of the solid output.

This release dips right back into the oldschool rave sound with acidstomper Equanimity and title track Technical Difficulties which is pure 90s warehouse love. On Euphonious Rudosa blends a little more of the mordern techno sound into his relentless beats.
I love his non-complicated and full on sound. It grabs me right away and keeps me locked in.

All three tracks have been firm favourites in my sets the past 3 months and I am really happy to have Rudosa onboard for the label.
Hit play and find out if these are among your new favourite tracks.

RELEASE: Mario Ochoa - Spacewalk

It’s with great honour that I can now welcome Colombian Mario Ochoa to the Noir Music family.
Been supporting his music for years and we can now finally present his debut release “Spacewalk” on the label.

After some months back and forth and heavy road-testing I feel Mario has created a fantastic 2-tracker to be very proud of.
His productions are on point and the heavy basslines on these bangers are gonna leave the crowds ecstatic.
I’ve had nothing but great reactions from testing these tracks and numerous of people asking for track-titles in clubs and on socials.

Rounding off a great 2018 with another release on Noir Music that makes me a very proud label-owner.
I can’t even pick my favourite between the two tracks, can you ?

OUT NOW: Thomas Schumacher - The Fuzz

Another outstanding release by Thomas Schumacher on Noir Music is now available…
Listen:
Beatport Spotify Youtube

Over the past two years Thomas Schumacher and I have build an amazing friendship and released incredible music by Thomas on Noir Music.
I believe 100% in his unique productions and he believe 100% in my A&R skills to take the music to new levels.
I am honored to have yet another set of incredible tracks ready for a release on Noir Music and instead of me describing the music I asked Thomas to put words on the release himself this time.

________

”It’s been an emotional and rewarding process to record these two tracks for Noir. This release got me digging deep into my Acid and Rave Techno consciousness: The early 90s and it’s illegal Warehouse raves in abandoned dockyards in the North of Germany. Memories of collective euphoria on the dance floor burnt into my mind and soul. It was my goal to capture the original spirit, the-everything-goes, over-the-top, raw-as-fuck attitude that defined that time of my life.”
